Weather policy

So, stopping by the Little Rock Marathon web page, I saw their weather policy. Since I know you're curious, here it is:

WEATHER POLICY
All races will run as scheduled regardless of weather conditions. Rain does NOT stop marathoners and lightning will only delay the start.

So lightning delays the start, does it? But if lightning happens in the middle of the race, what do you do? Just run faster?

yup. Faster than the lightning, if possible.

Rain actually is nice in long runs... It rained on me during my first half marathon, and then a lot during training runs for the L.A. marathon. Keeps you cool and hydrated!

I wonder though will there be water stops and gatorade stops if it's raining? Will there be a need for it?

Just tilt your head back for a few seconds while you're running?

Anyhow, I'm feeling excited. I should be so lucky that there's a big rainstorm on June 3. That would be the best.
